Joseph Earl Thomas is a Black poet and memoirist from Philly, who also writes speculative fiction centered on disenfranchisement, coming of age as a person of color and long, long wars. He attended Arcadia University for biology and is now finishing up an MA in Writing Studies at Saint Joseph’s University.
