Reading & conversation of God Bless You, Otis Spumkmeyer
First Novel Friday
First Novel Friday returns on April 3rd at 6pm, featuring debut novelists Morgan Day (The Oldest Bitch Alive), Lisa Lee (American Han), and Giada Scodellaro (Ruins, Child). Joseph Earl Thomas, winner of The Center for Fiction 2024 First Novel Prize for God Bless You, Otis Spunkmeyer, will join us as the evening’s moderator.
The evening will kick off with a happy hour reception at 6pm in our Members Lounge, where you can meet and mingle with the evening’s featured authors over signature cocktails from our Café & Bar. Then, at 7pm, we’ll move to our auditorium as the authors take the stage to read from and discuss their work. (If auditorium seating reaches capacity, guests will be invited to watch the livestream of the readings and conversation on a large screen in our Members Lounge.) Afterward, the party will continue with book signings.
